  3. I don't understand. This language doesn't have a word equivalent to "you"?

Oh, they have that, for sure. But they don't have something for "thee" or "thou". :-)

  5. One problem I've met with translations such as the KJV that use "thou" and "thee" is that even people who use them may not understand the significance.

Some thought that thou/thee were more "intimate" or "reverent" than ye/you. Not all realised it was just a case of singular versus plural, and even those who knew might miss the point in passages such as John 1:50-51 where the usage changes.

Well, that's what I thought. So this is just some moron making something out of nothing. It's just frightening to me that there are people out there who believe this baloney.

I wonder what he would do to convert the word righteous to clicks?

  9. No I didn't. Boy they sure got me, what a dope.

    BUT

You and I both know that with way popular culture is going and relative lack of knowledge of what the Bible really says, this is certainly a possibility, if not a likelyhood.

    BUT
boy I didn't see that coming at all.

Ah, the pungent taste of humility

  10. Charles, what makes Tominthebox so good is that so many of their spoofs are possible and only just beyond the realm of actuality. Indeed some aren't even beyond it, there are one or two I have seen and thought "Didn't you know that so-and-so is really doing this?"
