TNIV contest
No one entered my last contest, posted on July 6. Perhaps it was too much work, especially during summer days. So I still have my contest prizes to give away. What shall I do to lighten the load of books on our moving truck? How about an easier contest? Let's try this:
Are you ready? On your Mark (surely, that would be the gospel of Mark, eh?), get set, Go!

TNIV ContestThere will still be prizes remaining if we get a winner in this contest, so those of you who have read through some other recently published English Bible versions, get ready to enter contests for them.
1. This contest will last for 48 hours from the time this notice is posted.
2. The contest winner will be the person who has read through the entire TNIV translation (both old and new testaments) the most number of times. In case of a tie, both entrants will receive a prize.
3. Please post the number of times you have completely read the entire TNIV as a comment to this post. If you prefer not to post that information publicly, you may send it to me privately. My email address is wayneleman at netzero dot com.
4. The prizes are the same as for the last contest, English Bible versions which are extras in my collection. I will pay the postage to your mailing address.

Ok... The number of times I've read through the TNIV (drum roll please...), Zero (0)... (Band plays "TA DA"). The reason is that I don't as of yet own a TNIV to read through. Be that as it may, the contest question was "how many times..." Well I guess Zero times would be an answer. (insert silly smiley here).

Chip, you have a clever response, for for that you will receive a free TNIV from me. Besides I wasn't explicit that the "most" number of times reading through the TNIV had to be greater than zero! Please email me off-blog with your mailing address and I'll mail you a TNIV.
Now, for the ESV contest, which is next, I'm going to be clear that the number of times read completely through needs to be more than zero :-)
Congratulations on winning one of my extra Bibles, and thank you for helping my wife and me lessen the weight of books in our rental truck when we move.
