Wayne, this should put to rest your concerns about obsolete language in the ESV. After all, if a cucumber can read it without difficulty.... :)
You have a point, Mark, but think how old that cucumber is by now. Larry's been doing Veggie Tales for quite a few years. Cucumbers get old and rubbery in a relatively short time. :-)
