Thank you. I am puzzled by "they do not use masculine terms where the Greek is gender-inclusive". Perhaps Collins needs to clarify which Greek terms he considers to be gender-inclusive. In his TNIV review he writes "the most accurate translation of αδελφοι is ‘brothers and sisters’", so clearly he considers this term to be gender-inclusive; but HCSB renders this "brothers", at Romans 12:1 at least. So does Collins consider "brothers" not to be a masculine term, and if so why does he commend the TNIV reading? It seems to me that he is confused here.
