Bible study programs

Bible study programs can enrich a person's study of the Bible, including ability to compare a number of different Bible versions against the original Biblical Hebrew and Greek, performing word searches of various kinds, etc. The more powerful programs, such as Accordance, allow searches on Biblical language words and grammatical categories. There is a new section in the right margin of this blog listing some of the most popular Bible study programs. Please let us know about others that we did not know about but which would be good to include in the list.

Thank you very much, indeed, John. That is exactly the kind of info we needed. BibleWorks is now in the list.

There is also sword (not to be confused with e-sword) from The Crosswire Bible Society at http://www.crosswire.org/ . Unlike many other packages this one is cross-platform and runs on Windows, Mac, Linux indeed anything with a compiler for the C++ programming language, which is pretty much any computer platform on the planet.
